This is the reason I love him: Matthew doesn’t care about getting awards for his performance in a movie or on Criminal Minds. He just likes to entertain people. He said that “giving an artist an award is like giving a penguin a swimsuit.” You already know that they’re good at it, and they don’t need to have anything added to that performance. They just like having their fans like their work. That’s really all a person can ask for.
